 How are your candles created?

Each candle is made in small batches and is hand poured. Like all things handmade each candle is different and variations may occur.

What is soy wax?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax from the oil of soybeans. The soy wax is created by harvesting soybeans then cleaning, cracking, de-hulling, and rolling them into flakes. The oil then gets extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. Soy wax is a good alternative to 100% paraffin wax because it is eco-friendly, renewable, sustainable, and carbon neutral. 

Where are your products created?
All of our candles and diffusers are mixed and hand poured in our studio in Richmond, VA.

What is the best way to extend the life of my candle?

The first time you burn your candle, let it burn until the entire surface layer of wax is melted. After burning, trim the candle wicks to ensure that any ashes and burnt sections are thoroughly removed.

What is the fragrance level for each candle scent?
Our fragrance level guide will tell you what to expect from each of our candles. They are ranked from 1-5 flames to make it easier to find the right candle for you. Check out our Fragrance Level Guide for more details on how to choose the perfect candle for you. 

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Our number one priority is to keep our customers satisfied. If for any reason you are not happy with your order please let us know and we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation. What else can I do with my candle style jar?
All of our containers are meant to be reused and repurposed after you've finished your candle! Simply wash the jar and create a keepsake or whatever else you would like!
